Fined after celebrating first US win, Mel Reid is now hunting maiden major at Women's PGA

Mel Reid 'got into trouble' for her victory celebrations "I did celebrate on Sunday and got in a bit of trouble. It wouldn't have been me if I didn't get in trouble!"

Mel Reid is fully focused on challenging for a first major title this week after incurring the wrath of the LPGA for excessive celebrating following her win at the weekend.

Reid and caddie Ryan "Des" Desveaux "partied quite hard" a few hours after she landed her first LPGA Tour title at the ShopRite LPGA Classic in New Jersey, but her celebrations landed her in hot water with the authorities.

The English star was fined for breaching the LPGA's COVID-19 protocols, although she was happy to admit it would have been out of character for her to have avoided getting into trouble, and Reid insisted she will be refreshed and ready to take on a "beast" of a golf course at Aronimink. ราคาบอลไหลล่าสุด

"We obviously partied quite hard on Sunday, Des more than me," said Reid ahead of this week's KPMG Women's PGA Championship. "I was trying to be a little bit of sensible me, which is quite unusual.

"I did celebrate on Sunday and got in a bit of trouble. It wouldn't have been me if I didn't get in trouble! Yeah, I mean, I obviously took it a little bit easier than I probably would have done normally. Des did not. Des was not in good shape for a couple days.

"Today is the first day that I've actually felt a little bit tired, like I struggled a little bit this morning, but I decided to take the afternoon off, get some good rest and try and kind of get my energy levels up again because this golf course is demanding and you're going to have to stay fresh.

England U21s reminded of responsibilities, says boss Aidy Boothroyd

Boothroyd: "We're regularly talking to the players about it. They are not just good players, it's important they become role models and know they have responsibilities"

England U21 boss Aidy Boothroyd has said his Young Lions are constantly reminded about their responsibilities, amid breaches of discipline in the senior squad.

Mason Greenwood and Phil Foden have been left out of the latest England squad by Gareth Southgate after being axed when they broke Covid-19 protocols following last month's 1-0 win in Iceland.

The pair were sent home from the England camp, missing the 0-0 draw in Denmark, and have not returned for games against Wales, Belgium and Denmark.

Tammy Abraham, Ben Chilwell and Jadon Sancho's arrival for international duty has also been delayed after the three players attended a party with more than six people for Abraham's birthday, in breach of coronavirus regulations. ข่าวล่าสุด

England U21s face a Euro 2021 qualifier in Andorra on Wednesday and Boothroyd believes his squad understand they are constantly in the spotlight.

He said: "We're regularly talking to the players about it. They are not just good players, it's important they become role models and know they have responsibilities. We're forever talking about that because it's important.

"We've all been young and got things wrong, it's part of growing up and part of becoming a well-rounded individual.

Marko Grujic: Liverpool midfielder joins Porto on loan

Marko Grujic started Thursday's Carabao Cup penalty shoot-out win against Arsenal

Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic has joined Portuguese side Porto on a season-long loan deal.

The 24-year-old Serbia international joined Liverpool from Red Star Belgrade at the start of 2016 but has yet to force himself permanently into the first-team picture.

He has spent the last two seasons on loan at Hertha Berlin and was linked with a possible permanent move to Germany - but bids from Bundesliga clubs on Deadline Day did not meet Liverpool's valuation. ข่าววันนี้

Grujic will instead get a chance of regular first-team football at Porto, who won the Portuguese league last season and will be playing in the Champions League.

A spot opened for Grujic in the Porto midfield when they decided to loan Danilo Pereira to French champions PSG.

There is no option to buy in the loan agreement and Grujic will join his new team-mates when he returns from international duty with Serbia.

Michael Keane: Everton defender says he had to work 'harder than ever' for England recall

Everton will hope to improve on their record of conceding 56 goals last term

Michael Keane says he had to work "harder than ever" to get back to the top of his game after he earned a recall to Gareth Southgate's England squad.

Keane suffered arguably the biggest setback of his career 12 months ago when he put in a shaky performance against the Czech Republic which saw him lose his place in the starting XI for both club and country.

The Everton defender's slack marking allowed Jakub Brabec to poke home the Czech Republic's equaliser and he was also caught out of position for the hosts' winner, looking uncertain in possession throughout as England lost 2-1.

However, he has now bounced back to the top of his game, helping Carlo Ancelotti's Everton side to the summit of the Premier League and signing a new five-year deal at the end of August before being recalled by Southgate for the upcoming games against Wales, Belgium and Denmark. สูตรบาคาร่าฟรี ป๋าเซียน

"It's always tough when you're having bad periods, when you're not playing your best football," Keane said. "Especially for your country, because the spotlight is on you even more and you want to do well.

"But to be honest, it's something I've done in the past, gone through bad spells and then bounced back stronger.

"I've looked at my game, what I can improve, I've worked harder than I ever have before to get back to a level I know I can play.

Deadline Day 2020: What does every Premier League club need?

GRAPHIC2

Analysis on what every Premier League club needs to do in the transfer market before the summer transfer window closes on Monday evening...

Arsenal are interested in Chelsea's Jorginho, Lyon's Houssem Aouar and Atletico Madrid's Thomas Partey, but can the Gunners get deals done for one or even two of the midfielders before the transfer deadline?

Before either deal can happen, Arsenal will need to offload players to generate funds. They also need to comply with a maximum of 17 non-homegrown players over the age of 21 in a 25-man squad. As it stands Arsenal have got 19 of those players, so they need to shift two, that's without any more additions from abroad.

So, who could leave the Emirates Stadium? Lucas Torreira has been continually linked with a move away, with Atletico Madrid thought to be at the front of the queue, while Mesut Ozil and Matteo Guendouzi have not been part of Mikel Arteta's plans so far this season. The club could also be open to offers for defenders Shkodran Mustafi, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Sead Kolasinac. American football

A "confident" Mikel Arteta says Arsenal are doing what they can to finalise deals ahead of Monday's deadline.

Speaking in his post-match press conference after the 2-1 win over Sheffield United, Arteta said: "I am confident we know exactly what we want to do. We are trying our best to finalise the deals. Let's see what happens. I cannot comment [on players]. At the moment there is nothing definite.

"I cannot discuss the players we want. We recognise certain positions we are short in numbers and quality.

Sergino Dest: Barcelona sign Ajax right-back in £23.8m deal

Tariq Lamptey

Barcelona have completed the signing of right-back Sergino Dest from Ajax in a deal worth up to €26.2m (£23.8m).

Ajax will receive an initial fee of €21.2m (£19.2m) and an additional €5m (£4.6m) in add-ons for Dest, who has signed a five-year deal at the Camp Nou with a buy-out clause set at €400m (£362.9m).

Barcelona have beaten off competition from Bayern Munich to land the 19-year-old United States international, after seeing an offer to take Max Aarons on loan rejected by Norwich City.

Sky Sports News reported earlier this month that Barcelona had agreed personal terms with Aarons but the deal broke down as Norwich wanted to include an obligation to buy at the end of the loan.

The German giants are also in the market for a young right-back and have rivalled Barcelona for Dest and Aarons while also expressing an interest in Brighton's Tariq Lamptey. สูตรบาคาร่าฟรี ป๋าเซียน

Barcelona are continuing their rebuild under new boss Ronald Koeman after having seen Miralem Pjanic and Francisco Trincao join the club from Juventus and Braga respectively.

The La Liga giants have looked for a new right-back after Nelson Semedo's £36.8m departure to Wolves last week while also sanctioning the sale of Luis Suarez to Atletico Madrid and Arturo Vidal to Inter Milan.

Matteo Guendouzi: Arsenal midfielder subject to interest from Marseille

Marseille want to sign Matteo Guendouzi from Arsenal, with the French club said to be interested in a season-long loan deal.

The 21-year-old has not played a single minute for Arsenal yet this season.

He was involved in a fracas with Seagulls forward Neal Maupay, appearing to grab his opponent's throat after the final whistle at the Amex Stadium.

Reports in France earlier this summer claimed that Guendouzi said he would be open to leaving Arsenal during a disciplinary meeting at the club, following the incident at Brighton, but Arteta later dismissed the speculation.

Guendouzi, who joined the Gunners from Lorient in 2018, is under contract at the Emirates Stadium until 2022. ทีเด็ด 1×2

The midfielder has played 82 times for the club in all competitions, scoring once and making five assists since his debut in August 2018.
